Eddie's new favorite movie is called inside out. He has watched it about two or three times in the movie theater. The other day I took him to boomers and then bought him the set.
Eddie, you changed our lives. You are growing so fast. Impressing us and everyone who loves you with your intelligence and sensibilities. Your joy for life and cautious loving nature melts hearts. Eddie's kindergarten graduation-Class of 2015
So, Eddie graduated Kindergarten on Friday. He looked so nervous at first, but then he did several fun dance performances. Sort of makes me want to put him in dance classes. It was fun to watch him! Dad, grandpa and grandma were there to watch him too. Can't believe how fast the year went.

We are still not sure where he will attend next. But hopefully after July 27th, when he has an academic assessment by the school district, we will have our answers and decide on a school
Can Zero go with me to grandma's house?
This morning, is the first day Eddie is on Summer vacation. He wakes up and says: "Mom, can I go to grandma and grandpa's house?"
I said, yes. He asks: "Can Zero come?"
Grandma said it was fine, so I said yes.
On our way there, Eddie says: "Mama, do you know why Zero goes to grandma's house with me?"
I said "no, why?"
Eddie: "Because he scares away the cats for grandma! He's happy to help."

Eddie's loose tooth story
My cousins from Bakersfield, Eddie and I went to the beach on Saturday. I will post pictures of that later. After the beach, we went to a restaurant in Malibu called Paradise Cove Beach Cafe. It was late (8:45 pm) and Eddie was already tired after a long day of play in the sun.
The entire day at the beach Eddie was not on his iPad. When we were at the restaurant, that's all he wanted to do, just zone everyone and every thing out. He didn't even want to order food! I even offered ice cream and he rejected that. He was tired.
They sat the kids in a booth on their own and the adults all sat in a larger booth. I could see Eddie from a few feet away, but I couldn't hear him. As I was talking to my cousins, I peeked over every few minutes to see if Eddie was ok. At one point I could see him trying to do voice commands on youtube and I could see the frustration in his face, when the iPad would not pick up on his voice due to the loud crowd sounds.
I walked over and was able to fix the issue he was having. A few minutes later, I look over and I could see he was becoming frustrated again with the iPad. Out of frustration, he bit into the iPad pretty hard. I watched him do this from a distance, but didn't get up yet. Suddenly, I see Eddie look at me with big eyes and a very concerned look on his face......his eyes began to water. I immediately thought he hurt his mouth biting the iPad. When I got close to him, he started crying more and exclaiming "Mama! I'm going to pass away! I'm going to pass away!"
I asked what was wrong and he said "I bit my iPad and something went in my teeth. How can I get it out? I'm going to pass away!"
I said, "Eddie, you need to first calm down. Can you calm yourself or do you need me to take you to the bathroom where we can work on calming you down?" (I know this sounds like I was going to spank him LOL but I was being calm and trying to calm him too.)
He said, "Mama, help me calm down, I'm scared! I don't know how to get that thing out of my tooth."
I said, "Don't worry, I will grab some toothpicks and we will try to get it out in the bathroom ok?"
At the women's restroom, there was a long line. I cut in front of everyone and of course that caused all eyes on Eddie and I. I put him on the counter as he was crying. I opened his mouth and used the toothpick to start picking out what object he thought was in his teeth. When I pushed on the tooth, it bled slightly and moved a lot! I immediately said "Eddie! You don't have anything in your teeth! You have a loose tooth!" His cries stopped right away, as he has been waiting for this day for a long time! All the ladies in the bathroom said "awwwwwww!" Eddie kind of smiled with tears in his eyes.
We were able to go back to our seats. My family was wondering what happened and I summarized it to them.
Once that was taken care of, Eddie was fine and happy again. Here he is after the bathroom situation.

Dad and I both took a look at the tooth and we estimate it will fall off on it's own 1-2 weeks from now.

The type of Questions Ed asks at 6 yrs old
On our drive to school today....
Ed: Mom, do people who pass away have hearts in their body, when they are buried?
Me: *gulp!!!* Well, ahem, ummm, you see...(oh boy) when people pass away, their organs are removed from their body and sometimes passed on to other people who need it. Other times their organs are thrown away. (The easiest way I could put it for him and still be honest. That's what he is seeking)
Ed: Oh! (shocked face) They give their parts to other people?
Me: It's not a bad thing baby. Sometimes, people who are alive need, for example, a heart because theirs it not working too well. It's called having a transplant.
Ed: My heart is strong! I don't need a transplant.
Me: Yes! You are right! Do you know what your heart does for your body?
Ed: It goes Buh-bump! Buh-Bump!
Me: Yes, but do you know what else it does for you?
Ed: It makes me love you!
Me: *Melt*

Mama, how many jobs do you have today?
Ed and I are on the phone, while I am at work and he is home sick.
Ed: Mama, how many jobs do you have today?
Me: 1,000.
Ed: You should do 1,008, that would make your boss happy.
Me: Ed, that is great advice. I should always go above and beyond. Thank you.
Ed: You're welcome.

Ed: Ok then, be here 10 minutes post 5:30.
Me: You want me there by 5:40?
Ed: Yes, mama.
Me: OK baby.
